2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Carpenter | Full Time
Ultra Project Services is seeking a second- or third-year apprentice, that is either completing their carpentry apprenticeship to join our team.
This is a full-time role, where you will be working primarily on commercial & residential projects, based in Wangaratta Victoria.
As an apprentice carpenter, your responsibilities are aimed at developing your skills and knowledge in the field.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- On-the-Job Training: Work under the supervision of experienced carpenters to learn various carpentry techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
- Measurement and Layout: Assist in measuring and marking materials for cutting and assembly.
- Material Handling: Help with the selection, preparation, and transport of materials needed for projects.
- Tool Operation: Learn to safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools used in carpentry.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Job Site Cleanliness: Keep the work area clean and organized to minimize hazards and improve efficiency.
- Teamwork: Work effectively with other carpenters, contractors, and construction workers to complete projects on time and to specification.
- Instruction Following: Follow directions from lead carpenters and project supervisors to ensure quality and accuracy in work
